Welcome to Brayfield Cottage

Brayfield Cottage is a very comfortable 2 bedroom self contained private cottage that has lots of history but with all the comforts one would expect from a quality bed and breakfast. During 2010 the cottage underwent major renovations to create a well appointed B&B including new kitchen, secluded courtyard, ducted air-conditioning for the hot summers and a heating system that keeps you nice and warm during those cold winter months.

It boasts a fully equipped kitchen, leather lounge suite, large plasma tv, dvd and sound system, broadband Internet, 2 bedrooms that can sleep 6 to 8 people, private courtyard with barbeque and a garden that is filled with edible herbs and vegetables for guests to eat. The cottage has its own carpark and entrance so that privacy is guaranteed.

This beautifully restored 1880’s cottage is set on 2 acres of land and is adjacent to the main historic house with the most spectacular uninterrupted views over the River Murray, the old Bridges and town of Murray Bridge. Easily within walking distance of the main street (Bridge Street) and local shops the location is ideal for people wanting a convenient, quiet yet centrally located place to stay.

The grounds of the property includes over 1000 commercial lavender plants which are grown on the cliff face overlooking the River. Guests are welcome to wander through the gardens at their leisure and enjoy the peace and tranquillity that the property has to offer. The hosts continue to operate a lavender farm and make many different lavender products which are available for purchase. Staying in Brayfield Cottage will give you opportunities to explore in more detail the work involved in growing and harvesting lavender and making products. Your host Allan loves taking guests on tours of the property.
